Join  the  PPWC  for  the  our  Brunch  and  Speaker  Series  Event! 

Prior  to  Photography,  images  were  shared with each other through the art of drawing and painting. Photography radically changed that with the invention of the camera and the creation of the first permanent image in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce. Today, considering  1.1 billion photos were uploaded to Facebook over the 48 hours of New Year’s Eve and New Years Day of 2013, we can safely say photography has changed our lives more than almost any invention of its times.

Come  explore  the  history  of  photography,  some  of  the  great  photographic  artists  and  what  makes  a  photograph  a  superb art form. Composition, light, the decisive moment and how an image is a true representation of a moment in time that will never be again.
