Our California Poppy at Temescal Gateway Park

Culture in the Canyon at Chautauqua Series - Every year, the hills of the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve light up with the colors and scents of wildflowers. The intensity and duration of the bloom can vary year to year, so California State Park Interpreter Jean Rhyne will be here to give you an up-to-the-minute flower forecast for this spring. She will also talk about the prehistoric and humorous historic uses of our California State Flower. Meet at Woodland Hall. 1.5 hours.
