Orange Pickin' Party with Food Forward!

Food Forward will pick its two millionth pound of produce on April 5th, 2014 in Franklin Canyon and is still seeking volunteers to celebrate this milestone event. The five year old Southern California non-profit has fed over one million people in Southern California by connecting recovered fruits and vegetables to more than 65 food banks and direct service local agencies across Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and Orange Counties.

The Orange Picking Party will accommodate around 100 volunteers with a goal to collect thousands of oranges on Saturday, April 5th from 11 am to 1 pm. Volunteers must be 14+.
