In the blog, a wedding planner spoke about her awful encounter with a drunken guest during a destination wedding.  This unruly guest pestered her throughout the entire wedding reception; he even went as far as cornering her in secluded place at the venue.  Lucky for the wedding planner, she had a walkie-talkie with her and was able to alert her staff that she needed help.  But as shared in her blog, the wedding planner actually feared for her safety.  Sadly, this run-in could have been avoided, had the wedding planner hired a security guard for the reception.

Security guards are not just for the bride and groom – this is a misleading notion.  Security guards at weddings are for the safety of everyone present, including the wedding planning staff.  Wedding planners have an arsenal of staff ready assist them with every detail of the reception.  Why should they be concerned with the security detail when they could simply hire a security guard who can relive all the additional stresses of the day.
