Beloved Palisades Elementary Yee Haw Day Fair returns: October 19th from 1:00 to 5:00 pm

The ever popular Palisades Elementary annual Yee Haw Day Fair returns on Saturday, October 19th from 1:00 to 5:00pm on the Palisades Charter Elementary school campus at 800 Via de la Paz. The entire community is welcome to join in the western-themed day of old-fashioned fun.

An eagerly awaited and long-standing tradition at Pali Elementary, the Yee Haw Country Fair offers activities and entertainment for the whole family. This year's event includes fun for all ages, including special toddler activities as well as kid favorites such as full-sized go karts, slot cars, giant inflatables, face-painting, airbrush tattoos and a boot stomping array of games with a giant prize booth. Also new this year is an inflatable mechanical bull.

In addition to the games and activities, there will be entertainment galore, with a live DJ, "Cake Walk" and a 2:00 performance by the terrific dancers of Fancy Feet. Cowboy-sized appetites will enjoy the array of gourmet food trucks including the "Slammin' Sliders" and "Smokin' Willie's BBQ" trucks. Sweet treats include "Frozen Crush" shaved ice and "Fry Girl" mini doughnuts.

Admission to the event is free. There will be a spectacular raffle with amazing prizes including Clippers tickets plus "Ball-Boy" or "Ball-Girl" for a Clippers game, and a 16GB iPad. Raffle tickets will be available for $5 per ticket.

The Yee Haw Day Fair benefits Palisades Enrichment Programs (PEP). Funds raised help support the acclaimed Pali Elementary teaching staff and a wide range of school enrichment programs.
