Beautification Day at Marquez Charter ~ April 6th from 9am-2pm

Beautification Day

Come
join us for our Spring Beautification Day on Sunday, April 6th anytime
between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. as we cultivate a sense of community and
responsibility, while working to make Marquez more beautiful! Bring
your kids, neighbors, and friends. There will be something for everyone
to do from plant demolition, to trash pick-up, and general clean-up. Now
that the planting plans have been approved by LAUSD we are moving
forward and we will be removing designated plants from the planters in
preparation for our new plants. There is still time to Sponsor a Planter
if you are interested in donating and a sign up sheet will be provided
at Beautification Day, or contact Leah. So, bring your work gloves,
rakes, shovels, pruners, and saws and get ready to roll up your sleeves
and get to work on April 6th. Refreshments will be provided by Bagel
