Willan and Amy Friedman will be discussing their new book, One Soufflé at a Time. Ms. Willan founded La Varenne Cooking School in Paris, in 1975. She is an
internationally recognized authority on French cooking and has written more
than thirty books. In One Soufflé at a
Time: A Memoir of Food and France, she discusses her journey from
Newcastle, England, to France, where she founded and operated her cooking
school. She’s won many awards for her teaching and her writing, including the
Lifetime Achievement Award of the International Association of Culinary
Professionals. One Soufflé at a Time includes
fifty of her favorite recipes.
