VIDEO: Homeless Man, Amos, Discovers Pacific Palisades

He lives in a tent on the streets of downtown L.A. A filmmaker documents his life on a YouTube channel.

A Los Angeles filmmaker documenting the life of his friend, a homeless man living in a tent downtown, brought him to the Westside on Sunday and it was described as "heaven on Earth," according to the Huffington Post.

In his latest video (Warning: mild profanity, marijuana use), Amos, who goes by the nickname "Chicago," stands on a scenic overlook and looks down on a neighborhood, pondering what it would be like to live in the hills west of the 405 Freeway.

He also visits the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine and is amazed by the aroma therapy of the flowers, peaceful setting and sounds of the birds chirping.
