Sewer Line Work Causes Sepulveda Lane Closures

Metro also says there will also be full closures of neighboring streets through April 2012.

Sepulveda will be down to one lane in each direction during daytime hours between Montana Avenue and Sunset Boulevard due to sewer line work, according to Metro. Work on this project began Dec. 1 and is expected to wrap up in April 2012.

The following streets will be fully closed during construction:

  • Homedale Street between Sepulveda Boulevard and Thurston Avenue
  • Bronwood Avenue at Sepulveda Boulevard

Work hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closures are in effect from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Metro says driveway access may be interrupted from time to time, but notifications will go out to residents and business owners who may be affected.

According to Metro, street parking may be restricted and emergency personnel will have access to the area at all times.

The closures are subject to weather conditions. So, for the latest information, visit the Metro website.

Not sure. There's not always an immediate answer to helicopters circling. Did anyone else hear orRead More see this? How long did it last? Was it just 1 copter or many police units?
