Sepulveda to Close For Work on Sunset On-Ramp

A portion of the street will be closed overnight for bridge falsework installation at the Sunset Boulevard on-ramp.

Due to construction, Metro says Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed between Montana Avenue and Church Lane/Ovada Place Tuesday night.

The closure will be for one night only beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to Metro.

Metro officials say crews will be installing bridge falsework at the Sunset Boulevard on-ramp. Falsework is a temporary structure installed to support the bridge during construction, according to Metro.

Detours for the Sepulveda Boulevard closures are as follows:

  • Traffic traveling south on Sepulveda Boulevard will be detoured to southbound Church Lane, to eastbound Montana Avenue and back to Sepulveda.
  • Traffic traveling north on Sepulveda Boulevard will be detoured to westbound Montana Avenue, to northbound Church Lane and back to Sepulveda.

Metro says local access for residents will be maintained and emergency responders will have access to the area.
