Update: Power Outage in Pacific Palisades

Power is restored after an outage was reported in Pacific Palisades Wednesday morning.

Power was restored to hundreds of residents Wednesday evening after an outage was reported in the Pacific Palisades area, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The rain knocked out the cross-arm on a power pole and service was disrupted for about 400 Pacific Palisades customers beginning at 9 a.m., according to the LADWP. For security reasons, the LADWP did not release the street names of the areas affected.

The power had been out through the 5 p.m. hour while crews were trying to resolve the issue, per an LADWP spokeswoman. As of 6:30 p.m. LADWP officials said there were no longer any outages in the Palisades area.
