A power outage occurred at the at approximately 3:53 a.m. Thursday, according to spokesperson Julie Jaskol.
A transformer failed and the Department of Water and Power worked on site all morning to resolve the issue. At 11:20 a.m., Jaskol reported DWP restored the power.
Jaskol added that the Villa remains closed to visitors Thursday but doors will open at 6 p.m. for the outdoor theater performance of Helen.
