LADWP Work May Cause Delays at Church Lane

Metro says power line relocation resumes Monday and will continue for about five weeks.

According to Metro, lanes will be closed on Church Lane/Ovada Place due to power line and vault relocation beginning 9 a.m. Monday.

The work is expected to continue for about five weeks on Church Lane, between Sepulveda Boulevard and the southbound 405 ramps, stated a notice from Metro.

Details of the lane reductions and relocation work are as follows:

  • Work hours: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and 9 p.m.-5 a.m.
  • Church Lane will be reduced to one lane in each direction during daytime hours.
  • Church Lane will be restricted to local access only during nighttime hours.
  • for utility relocation work.

Metro says local access for residents will be maintained and emergency responders will have access to the area. In addition, pedestrians will be rerouted to a safe area.
