Daylight Saving Time Tips: Slip Into Spring, Don't Sleep!

ABC News gives us tips on how to successfully "spring forward."

With the exception of Hawaii, Arizona, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the nation will be losing an hour Sunday morning due to Daylight Saving Time.

At 2 a.m. Sunday, one hour will slip away while most of us are sleeping. But, can that one hour wreak havoc on our sleep patterns?

"The new light-dark cycle is perversely working against the body clock. We're getting less sunlight in morning and more in the evening," said Dr. Alfred Lewy, director of Oregon Health and Science University's Sleep and Mood Disorders Laboratory in an ABC News report.
