Crews to Reconfigure Portion of Sepulveda Thursday, Friday Nights

For the next two nights, crews will remove k-rail and restripe a section of Sepulveda Boulevard, creating two lanes in each direction.

According to Metro, on Saturday morning, Sepulveda Boulevard will have two lanes in each direction between Constitution Avenue and Getty Center Drive. Crews will be removing k-rail and restriping Sepulveda Boulevard in that area on Thursday and Friday night to make that happen.

Crews will be reconfiguring the portion of Sepulveda Boulevard from 9 p.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Friday, and again from 9 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday, stated a Metro press release.

The Moraga intersection will also be reconfigured. According to Metro, the reconfiguration will allow for a dual left turn from northbound Sepulveda Boulevard to the northbound 405 Freeway on-ramp and two through lanes.

Metro officials also noted there will be traffic signal work in the area. The work is expected to be completed by 11 a.m. Saturday.
