California Incline Will Close for L.A. Marathon

The Moomat Ahiko ramp to and from Pacific Coast Highway will be open during Sunday's race.

 

The California Incline will close Sunday for the 2013 Los Angeles Marathon, which starts at Dodger Stadium and ends just north of the Santa Monica Pier.

The city of Santa Monica will close the main connector between Ocean Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway at 5 a.m. and re-open it by 8 p.m. The Moomat Ahiko ramp to and from PCH will be open in both directions.

Streets across Los Angeles, including most of San Vicente Boulevard through Brentwood and Santa Monica, will be shut down for the race. The 26.2-mile course passes some of L.A.'s world-famous landmarks and draws hundreds of thousands of spectators.
