Stout
in Santa Monica, a local pub offering a wide selection of artisan draft and bottled beers from around the world, is finishing up final approvals and should open in the next month or so, according to EaterLA. Patch first reported on the businesses move to open a third location in December 2011.

Industry Partners, a Santa Monica-based real estate services firm, has acquired a 5,000-square-foot industrial building and adjacent vacant lot for its new headquarters in the media district. Future plans call for 40,000-square-foot creative office building on Euclid Street, as part of a multimillon-dollar renovation.

A very delayed opening of Maddy's vegan cafe is still set to open on Pico Boulevard in West L.A., according to EaterLA. It held a soft opening May 12 and the all vegan menu there contains plant-based sandwiches, salads and a wide variety of desserts.

Styliner's pop-up hut is set to open at the corner of Rose and Rennie in Venice for the next six months, according to RackedLA. The Quonset hut's soft opening was Friday, May 24 and features custom accessories from numerous global designers.

Shutters

Westwood Brewing Company recently announced it will close its doors this summer. The microbrewery will close after nearly 20 years of operation on Glendon Avenue, and a seafood restaurant, The Boiling Crab, will replace the Brewing Company possibly by the end of summer.
