Palihousethe hip "urban lodges" set to take over the former Embassy Apartment Hotel in Santa Monica as first reported by Patch are set to open June 1, according to EaterLA. The developer's founder, Avi Brosh, is putting his "whimsical yet refined" touch on the 1927 building, which is just a few blocks north of the Third Street Promenade at Washington Avenue and Third. It will be kept as as a hybrid hotel-condo now billed as a "boutique beach lodge."

Golden Bridge Yoga, home to Kundalini yoga, has arrived on the Westside at 719 Broadway in Santa Monica. It's taken over a bow and truss space echoing its Hollywood location. The main entry opens into the boutique and café, with an adjacent studio capable of accommodating up to 50 students, as well as a small upstairs studio and offices. Sushi Sasabune, relocated to a new location in West L.A. at Wilshire Boulevard and Centinela Avenue from its original Beverly Hills location, according to EaterLA. The new home is smaller and more intimate with new art and lighting fixtures.

Napoletana-style pizza restaurant Settebello Pizzeria is planning to open a Marina Del Rey restaurant location this summer. The restaurant franchise specializes in making pizza "Napoletana" style, which is cooked for one-minute in 1000-degree wood-fired ovens.

Tender Greens opened its new location in the Marina Marketplace in Marina del Rey, making it the second restaurant to open in the newly renovated retail space in Marina Del Rey. Known for its "slow food done fast," Tender Greens specializes in sourcing fresh ingredients from local farms to use in its healthy dishes.
