Pali Chamber Holds Mixer to Celebrate Gerry Blanck

A night of recognition, laughs, good food, some kickboxing and prizes took place at the Pacific Palisades martial arts studio celebrating 30 years in business.

Dozens of current and new Pacific Palisades business leaders attended the Chamber of Commerce mixer this week at , in honor of Blanck's .

"There's a lot of history in this building," Blanck said, talking about the Palisades Village Center office building at 881 Alma Real Drive where his dojo is located, among several other local businesses. "Thanks for the support of the community. It's been the best summer of my life."

Chamber President Nicole Howard introduced some new businesses and recognized other longstanding individuals celebrating milestones in the community. Mr. Palisades Joel Rosenthal helped conduct the raffle.
