Mexican Menu Pops Up at Taste at the Palisades

West Hollywood-based Tortilla Republic's contemporary Mexican cuisine will be available weekly at the Pacific Palisades restaurant.

Traditional Californian cuisine fans of Taste at the Palisades will get a Mexican twist starting Thursdays from a West Hollywood-based restaurant.

Tortilla Republic will begin hosting pop-up menu at Taste, located at 538 Palisades Dr., Pacific Palisades. It starts Thursday, April 4, and every Thursday, from 5 to 9 p.m.

According to Tortilla Republic, the weekly changing menu will its most popular dishes including duck confit tacos with sour cherry salsita, shaved radish and cilantro crema; camerones en pipan with jumbo shrimp, pumpkin seed sauce, Spanish rice and toasted pumpkin seeds; and carnitas with crispy pork, caramelized orange, pickled jalapeno, tomatillo fresca, soft corn tortillas, guacamole and crema.

Additionally, Tortilla Republic’s mixologists have created a list of special soju margaritas, made from fresh produce, which will also change weekly.
