L.A. Magazine Lists Maison Giraud as 'Best New Bakery'

Magazine highlights pastry chefs at Pacific Palisades restaurant and bakery that opened in 2011.

The Los Angeles Times was not kidding when they boldly stated last summer that Pacific Palisades restaurant Maison Giraud's croissants might rival - or even be better - than ones you'd find in Paris, and that Alain Giraud may be the last French chef in the city.

Los Angeles Magazine says Maison Giraud's croissants "reign supreme" in a Feb. 8 list of the best bakeries in L.A.

"Whether au beurre or au chocolat, we haven’t tasted such flaky perfection since that layover at Charles de Gaulle," the magazine states.
