Apple Dealer Opens in Pacific Palisades

Palisades Hi-Tech celebrated the opening of its second store in L.A. County last weekend. It offers sales, service and support for all Apple products.

Los Feliz Hi-Tech, an authorized value added Apple reseller, recently opened Palisades Hi-Tech, its second location in the Los Angeles area.

The Westside 1,400-square-foot store is located at 970 Monument St. and serves Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Bel-Air and Malibu. It offers sales, service and support for all Apple products by authorized Apple specialists.

Owner Diego Thomas opened the original store in Los Feliz/Silverlake area in 2008 and, almost four years to the date, is opening this second store.

"The Palisades community has been overwhelmingly supportive," Thomas said. "They have commented how happy they are to have an Apple Dealer in the neighborhood and especially one that offers such extensive personalized services. We look forward to providing the same outstanding service our Los Feliz customers have come to expect."

Thomas, a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, came to the U.S. in 1989 and began his tech career in 1991. His passion for MACs fueled his systems consulting company, the Holy MAC Corporation, which for more than a decade provided technical support to prominent photographers, musicians and filmmakers in L.A. Later in his career, he created the MAC service center inside the renowned Samy’s Camera on Fairfax, where he assisted cutting-edge commercial and hobby photographers.

Thomas noted that he earned a reputation for making the artist's transition from analog to digital seamless and pain-free.

He designed the store concept to be "Your Neighborhood Mac Store" offering personalized and customized services that traditional Apple stores don't provide as well as the benefits of no crowds, no waiting, no appointments and plentiful free parking.

As offered at the original store, Palisades Hi-Tech sells all Apple products (except iPhone) and a broad selection of Apple accessories. The new location also provides technical support and services for all Apple products including data recovery, onsite support and tutorials, glass and LCD replacements for iPads, iPhones and Mac laptops, software and hardware upgrades and tutorials.
