Will Rogers State Beach in the Pacific Palisades is number eight on a new list of 2012's top film, television, commercial and music video shoot locations in Los Angeles County.

The Los Angeles Times reports Will Rogers and Dockweiler State Beach in Playa del Rey drew the television shows "NCIS: Los Angeles," "90210," "Parenthood" and "The Office," according to the Film L.A. Inc. data, the quasi-public agency that issues filming permits. The newspaper reports that the beaches are two of eight publicly-owned places on the list compiled by FilmL.A.

Los Feliz's Griffith Park (1), Point Dume in Malibu (2), Dockweiler State Beach (3), the Sixth Street Bridge downtown L.A. (5) were others.

A design to reimagine the iconic Sixth Street Bridge downtown was selected this fall.

It will be interesting to see if the bridge, featured in "Grease," a recent Green Day video and many other productions, remains popular after the redo.
