The “Trojan Women (After Euripides)” Drama

  • Why Go: The outdoor classical theater of the Getty Center features the play, Trojan Women (After Euripides), directed by Anne Bogart and adapted by Jocelyn Clarke. This anti-war drama is about the royal women of Troy and their struggles after the slaughter of their husbands and sons.
  • Cost: General $42; Students and Seniors $38

Rabbit Hole

  • Where: , 941 Temescal Canyon Rd., Pacific Palisades
  • When: Saturday, 8 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m.
  • Why Go: Theatre Palisades presents Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Tony Torrisi. Rabbit Hole tells the story of a husband and wife trying to cope with the recent death of their child.
  • Cost: $18-$20

Alper's Young Musicians Big Band to Perform Live

  • Where: 1035 Swarthmore Ave., Pacific Palisades
  • When: Saturday, 5:30 p.m.
  • Why Go: The Alper's Young Musicians Big Band will perform live at Lenny's Deli. Enjoy music by the 10-piece jazz band of young musicians. Everyone is welcome to stay for the rest of the show, which features comedy acts performed by kids 18 and younger.
  • Cost: Free

9/11 Concert at Theatre Palisades

  • Why Go: Join Theatre Palisades for a concert to remember victims of the September 11 attacks and to celebrate our country and its unity for the ten year anniversary. The concert will include operatic classics like the prologue from I Pagliacci, popular Broadway numbers and high holiday pieces.
