Viewfinder: Family Storytime

Kids gather to hear stories about feeling "under the weather" during Family Storytime at the Palisades Branch Library.

Storyteller Gail Kim entertained kids with stories like Chicken Soup and I'm Not Feeling Well Today during Family Storytime at the . The kids then helped Kim sing If You're Sick and You Know It by pretending to cough and sneeze with the song.

The library staff says the stories, songs and rhymes help young children build reading skills while they are having fun. The next Family Storytime is scheduled for 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at the library.
