Video: Rescued Kittens Up for Adoption in the Palisades

A Palisadian teen rescued newborn kittens and they are now up for adoption.

Palisadian Jade Brenner-Katz, 14, has been rescuing animals since she was 7; and a few weeks ago, her heart led her to three newborn kittens in Los Angeles.

Jade's mother, Lauren, said the kittens were posted on Craigslist and it immediately got their attention. Lauren said newborn kittens shouldn't leave their mothers too early, so Jade took them in.

The teen has been bottle feeding the now 8-week-old kittens in her Palisades home. Jade had taken bottle feeding courses at both the West LA Shelter and the East Valley Shelter. The kittens are happy, health and eating solid food. They will need their first shots, but they are already housebroken.

One of the kittens is spoken for, but the two featured in the video, a gray female and a cream-colored male, are ready for a home!
