VIDEO: Patriotism Lands in Pacific Palisades

The Pali Fourth of July parade brought the tradition and fanfare to celebrate America declaring its independence.

Aside from a few clouds, two skydrivers navigated their way safely to Sunset Boulevard Wednesday afternoon, kicking off the 64th annual Pacific Palisades Fourth of July Parade. One of the skydivers, Lynn Fogleman of Just In Time Skydivers, said it was his first time participating in the parade.

According to the program, nearly 100 groups marched, including , Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Miss Palisades Kelly Costa and Mr. Palisades Joel Rosenthal, Santa Monica Mayor Richard Bloom and the Marching Band.
