  • Does This Billboard in Culver City Look Like Hitler?A JCPenney Billboard on the 405 freeway near Culver City advertising a kettle that some say looked like Hitler generated a storm in a tea…kettle. So irate were some people (including the Culver City mayor) that JCPenney pulled the advertisement and the kettles off its shelves, but not before some smart people snapped them up and began selling the $44 kettles on ebay for up to $200 each.
  • Actor Andrew Keegan Banned for Life From Venice Restaurant: Keegan - who starred in Ten Things I Hate About You -  sued Venice restaurant and bar James' Beach in November 2012, alleging he was barred for no reason. Bouncers at the eatery who are countersuing say Keegan repeatedly hit them with his motorized skateboard.
  • Beverly Hills Eateries Make Jonathan Gold's Best Restaurants List: Urasawa was number 2 on the Los Angeles Times list of 101 Best Restaurants compiled by Jonathan Gold.Other Beverly Hills restaurants that made the cut were Bierbeisl, Spago, Cut, Grill on the Alley, Red Medicine and Matsuhisa.
