The eighth annual "Polo in the Palisades" will take place this month to help raise money for low-income families.
The event, which is sponsored by the Promises Foundation, aims to bring together a variety of people, including those from the world of entertainment, business and law, to benefit Miriam's House, a one-year treatment facility that offers recovery strategies and educational opportunities for women with children.
Those who are scheduled to be honored this year include: actor Matthew Perry, Anne Douglas, founder of the Anne Douglas Center, attorney Michael Nasatir and humanitarian Peggy Albrecht.
"Polo in the Palisades" will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, at Will Rogers State Park in Pacific Palisades.
Tickets, which are $250 each, may be purchased by calling (310)636-0165, or by sending an email to email@example.com.
