Photo Spotlight: Downed Tree in Huntington Palisades

A Pali Patch reader snaps a photo of what the high winds left behind.

Claudio Boltiansky sent in a photo of a downed tree on Almoloya Drive near Frontera Drive in the Hungtington Palisades area. He believes the tree must have gone down either late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Boltiansky said the tree was still in the road as of Friday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a red flag warning and high wind warning on Wednesday. The red flag warning is expected to remain in effect until 8 p.m. Friday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
