Pet of the Week: California 'Raisin'

This week's featured pet came to the Sammy Foundation with her brothers and sisters in tow.

This snuggling pup is a sweet California-born Labrador/West Highland Terrier mix. So sweet—in fact—she's known to the staff at the Sammy Foundation as "Raisin."

Raisin didn't arrive at the Sammy Foundation alone. She has four other siblings who are also up for adoption.

Raisin and her clan were born in a home and have been healthy for their first seven weeks of life. The staff at the Sammy Foundation said Raisin and the pups are in a foster home with other dogs, cats and kids, so they should be well socialized when they go to their forever homes!

We would venture to guess that this pup's first nap in your lap would make for the sweetest dreams a Raisin could have.
