Will Rogers 5k/10k and Fourth of July Parade Gets Live Broadcast

It's reportedly the first time the Pacific Palisades' events will be broadcast on live television and streamed on the Internet.

The following information was supplied by the Palisades Americanism Parade Association:

For the first time ever the Pacific Palisades Fourth of July Parade and the Palisades Will Rogers 5k/10k will be broadcast on live television throughout Southern California and streamed to the world on the internet. The events will be broadcast on KVMD-TV, which is available in Pacific Palisades on Time Warner Cable channel 17, Charter Cable channel 21 and DirecTV channel 31.

Award winning independent television producer Magnolia Street Productions will produce the telecast. The eight-hour broadcast will feature reports from Fourth of July celebrations throughout the five county Los Angeles metropolitan area, but will be based in and focused upon our events in Pacific Palisades. Starting at 8 a.m., the telecast will feature live complete coverage of the Will Rogers 5k/10k and kids' runs.

Pre-parade coverage picks up at 1 p.m., and the entire parade will be broadcast starting at 2 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.laregional4th.com/
