Palisades Charter High School Celebrates 50 Years

  • Where: , 15777 Bowdoin St., Pacific Palisades
  • When: Saturday, 3 p.m.
  • Why Go: Everyone is welcome to join Palisades High for their 50th anniversary celebration in Mercer Hall. Rose Gilbert will discuss memories of being a teacher at Palisades High, as well as the history of the school. Pali High will also make a memory book. You may contribute by bringing in a photo, card, story and more. RSVP by sending an email to Pali50@­palihigh.­org.

Performance by Zulal

  • Where: , 1200 Getty Center Dr., Los Angeles
  • When: Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
  • Why Go: Go to the Getty Center’s Harold M. Williams Auditorium for a performance by Armenian a capella trio, Zulal. They will perform songs from the Armenian song-book, including folk, traditional and church music.
  • Cost: General $20; Students and Seniors $15

19th Annual Polo Tournament

  • When: Sunday, 10 a.m.
  • Why Go: Join the 19th Annual Polo Tournament, presented by the . Bring your own picnic basket or buy food at the park. The kids can even enjoy free pony rides. The announcer for the day will be Al Epstein. Ranger Mikal Sandoval will sing the National Anthem at the tournament.

Rabbit Hole

  • Where: , 941 Temescal Canyon Rd., Pacific Palisades
  • When: Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
  • Why Go: Theatre Palisades presents Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Tony Torrisi. Rabbit Hole tells the story of a husband and wife trying to cope with the recent death of their child. 
  • Cost: $18 - $20
