Palisades Historical Society Cleans Up Founders' Oak Island

The Pacific Palisades Historical Society members attended a clean up event of the Founders' Oak Island on Haverford Avenue Saturday.

Founders' Oak Island on Haverford Avenue is a testiment to what remains of the original, untouched land before Pacific Palisades was established in 1922. This sliver of park is maintained and protected by the Pacific Palisades Historical Society, whose members perform a park clean up about every six weeks.

Join the Historical Society on March 14 at 7 p.m. for a lecture on given by author and historian Randy Young at the Pierson Playhouse.
