Palisades Branch Library Now Open on Mondays

The Palisades Branch Library had previously been closed on Sundays and Mondays, but now there are more opportunities to pick up a good book.

The Palisades Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library will be open on Mondays beginning July 18.

The library had previously been closed on Sundays and Mondays.

The Pacific Palisades Library Association said the extended hours are thanks to California voters approving Measure L in the March election. Measure L was a charter amendment that proposed dedicating funds to the LA Public Library system.

The Library Association said the measure was approved "with a substantial margin by voters in Pacific Palisades."

The new library hours are as follows:
Monday: 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday: 12:30 p.m.-8 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Friday: 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Sunday: Closed
