Pali Dogs Rattled by Fireworks Returned Home

Several good Samaritans in the Marquez Knolls neighborhood of Pacific Palisades helped reunite pets rattled by the Fourth of July fireworks with their respective owners.

As reported in the Patch tips for keeping pets safe in secure on July 4 post, pets can get easily traumatized from the loud noises of fireworks, and when they bolt, they end up too far from home to find their way back once the noises ended and the animals get their wits back.

A labradoodle, shown above, was found near Marquez Avenue and Edgar Street on July 4 and the local resident made an effort to return the pup to its owners.

Another Marquez resident found a beagle wandering at Lachman Lane and Duende Avenue and returned it to its owners.

Thanks for anyone who takes the time to reunite a missing pet with its owners!
