Overnight Pico Closures Begin in West Los Angeles

The closures will affect late night and early morning motorists.

Overnight closures of a stretch of Pico Boulevard in West Los Angeles will impact late-night/early morning motorists beginning tonight and continuing for the next month as work continues on a bridge for the Metro Expo Line.

Beginning at 9 p.m., eastbound Pico will be closed between Barrington and Sawtelle boulevards, with the stretch re-opening at 6 a.m. The closure will be repeated Sunday through Thursday nights until Oct. 17, according to the Expo Construction Authority.

Beginning 9 p.m. Oct. 20, westbound Pico will be closed in roughly the same stretch Sunday through Thursday nights until Oct. 31, with the road reopening at 6 a.m. each day.
