Holiday Wish For Palisadians From Pastor Nagel

Leaders of local congregations share their holiday wishes leading up to the annual Pacific Palisades Ministerial Association’s Inter-Faith Thanksgiving Service on Nov. 21.

Congregations will unite and give thanks at the on Nov. 21 for the annual Pacific Palisades Ministerial Association’s . The service, which will include prayer, readings from both the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament, meditations and music is an effort to bring Palisadians together.

Leading up to the service, the participating ministers and leaders of the local congregations are sharing what they are thankful for this year. The following is from the Reverend Dr. John Nagel, who is the senior pastor at the

Pacific Palisades Community United Methodist Church will be celebrating 90 years of serving the Palisades in 2012. From the days of the Chautauquas in Pacific Palisades, the Methodist Church has served people who have been actively sharing God's Word and Love to all people. As we look forward to the next 90 years, we will continue to guide, uplift and inspire people to grow in their faith and to serve others.

Please note, the Inter-Faith Thanksgiving Service will be held at the at the Self-Realization Fellowship temple, which is near the upper entrance at 17080 Sunset Blvd., just around the bend above Palisades Drive. Parking will be in the upper or lower lots. A shuttle will be available from the lower lot.
