A happy ending to a potentially sad tail.
On Friday, Sept. 13, a resident in the Highland area of Pacific Palisades saw a Beagle wander on to her property. She took it to the vet and discovered that he had a chip but there was no contact information for the owner.
However, the dog did have a collar and the vet believed that it might have come from a breeder and that it definitely had a home. After driving around Saturday night in search of the dog’s owner, somebody eventually came forward.
The dog’s neighbors recognized the beagle whose name is Happy. He had escaped from his back yard while his owners were away. Happy is now happily being cared for by the neighbors until his parents return.
