26 Acts of Kindness, Palisades Style

The Palisades-Malibu YMCA encourages members to give back and provide support to neighbors this holiday season.

Across the nation as people searching for ways to show concern for the families of Newtown, CT, 26 acts of kindness launched.

The Palisades-Malibu YMCA has suggestions for Palisadians who would like to join the effort. There are group projects, including the Y’s caravan of caring on Saturday (see "St. Agatha" attachment). Donations of coats and jackets will be accepted at the Y until noon on Saturday. Other group projects can be found on the Y’s Community Calendar at: ysocialresponsibilitycenter.org.

Acts of caring can include reaching out to a neighbor who might be lonely this holiday season. The Y has launched a project called "Know Your Neighbor" (see attached flyer). Bake a cake and make a new friend in your neighborhood!

Not sure. There's not always an immediate answer to helicopters circling. Did anyone else hear orRead More see this? How long did it last? Was it just 1 copter or many police units?
