DWP Transformer on Via Removed, Pac Pal Power Problems Persist

If things go as scheduled, in three hours the DWP transformer that was “temporarily” placed many years (decades?) ago on the lawn on  the side of the DWP substation on Sunset in The Village will be only a memory. The transformers inside have all been replaced, and the exterior one is no longer needed.  As the DWP power distribution system in The Palisades has reached near capacity, an additional substation will be located somewhere in Pacific Palisades, but when and where is yet to be announced by the LA City DWP.
