Update: Pedestrian Struck on PCH in Pacific Palisades

Per the Los Angeles Fire Department, a woman was found unconscious in the middle of Pacific Coast Highway in Pacific Palisades Saturday night.

Pacific Coast Highway was closed until about 3 a.m. Sunday morning while police investigated an incident involving an automobile and a pedestrian.

According to Los Angeles Fire Department Station 23, a 35-year-old female was found unconscious in the middle of Pacific Coast Highway near Gladstones Malibu at about 10:35 p.m. Saturday. According to firefighters, the woman was jaywalking from Gladstones parking lot to Von's market.

The woman had suffered injuries to her head, arm, pelvis and leg, according to the LAFD.

The woman was transported to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center were she died, said firefighters from Station 23.

Per the LAFD, the driver stayed on the scene while police investigated the incident.

One person was killed last week when a into a power pole in the same area of PCH. Another person was seriously injured in that incident.
