Pali Patch has a list of five things you can do in the Pacific Palisades area this weekend.

Rustic Canyon: 2011 Holiday Boutique & Art Show

  • Where: Rustic Canyon Recreation Center, 601 Latimer Rd., Santa Monica
  • When: Dec. 10 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Event: Artwork from Rustic Canyon students and the surrounding community will be on display. Light refreshments will be served.
  • Cost: Free

Culinary History Lecture

  • Where: Palisades Branch Library, 861 Alma Real Dr., Pacific Palisades
  • When: Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.
  • Event: The Culinary Historians of Southern California will present a lecture on the cusines of California Native peoples.
  • Cost: Free

Alper's Young Musicians Big Band Concert

  • Where: Lenny's Deli, 1035 Swarthmore Ave., Pacific Palisades
  • When: Dec. 10 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Event: Sit back and enjoy live music with your meal, courtesy of Alper's Young Musician's Big Band.
  • Cost: Free

SPIRAL Foundation Holiday Bazaar

  • Where: 211 Vance St., Pacific Palisades
  • When: Dec. 10-11 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Event: The bazaar features eco-friendly gifts made in Nepal, Vietnam or by African Refugees. All proceeds go to aid humanitarian projects.
  • Cost: Free

Christmas Mini Bazaar

  • Where: Pacific Palisades Community United Methodist Church, 801 Via de la Paz, Pacific Palisades
  • When: Dec. 11 at 11 a.m.
  • Event: A Christmas Mini Bazaar will be held each week until Dec. 18 in the OK Room at the church. Shop for all the folks on your list!
  • Cost: Free
